Coalbrookdale, Blists Hill and the Iron Bridge

Our visit to Coalbookdale, Blists Hill Victorian Museum and the Stunning Iron Bridge in Shropshire, allowed Both Mrs Catpaw and myself time to take pictures as well as soaking in the atmosphere.

We also explored the beautiful if somewhat hilly Shrewsbury and indulged one of Mrs Catpaws passions, post boxes.

The Iron Bridge

Obviously one of the first things you are drawn to when you visit the Iron Bridge Gorge is the Iron Bridge, as luck would have it we were staying along the road in Coalbrookdale village which is 15 minutes walk up stream, so we managed to get both day and night photographs.

Blists Hill Victorian Town

Blists Hill Victorian Town was opened in 1967 to conserve the heritage of the area and educate people.

Many of the building on the site have been move brick-by-brick from local towns and villages as well as from further afield.

Here are a few of the Photographs I took at the Museum.
